you can't die, but you will lose score if you get hit!
This is the second ever game I've made, made for Mini Jam 77: Courage. I made everything myself from scratch, all in a weekend. I learned a bunch from this project and it was really fun to make. tell me what you thought about it!
I recommend downloading the game for best performance results, but I've added a browser option cause god knows I can't be bothered to download every game in a jam so you know, do unto others and the like.

What a creative story and the level structure, like spyderbyte says below is really good. There was a variety of enemies. I'm surprised to hear this is only your second game as I can't put how much I enjoyed this short little project in words

I never knew Saturn had arms, 3 eyes and carried a handgun... You learn something new every day!
I liked the level structure; short, with a good variety of enemies and a bullet hell style boss (it's always fun to see the various bullet patterns). Short-but-sweet is what I'd call this game.
Also, the concept alone got a laugh out of me, and I was weirdly glad to see that all the planets were happy in the end.

I based the whole game around this concept cause it made me laugh so much; also I'm a sucker for happy endings :)
Congratulations in finishing your second game! I had a good time playing it! The story was nice, the art was clean and everything was easy to understand.
I think you should had a flash or flinch animation for when you deal damage to enemies with more hp that way its would be easier to know if my love is reaching them xD

I liked the background and the boss of chapter 1.
But chapter 2 had a big difficult increse compared to chapter 1.
You made the game so much more exciting trough the chapter concept. It really entertained me.
Maybe you should make the player a bit more special and prettier, so that he stands up from the enemies.
